Project Brief

In Project 2, we tackled the challenge of designing and constructing a 1:1 structure within a group setting. Employing Bamboo, we demonstrated our collective understanding of its characteristics and basic construction principles. Our exploration extended to the intricacies of joints, joinery, and structural considerations, incorporating additional materials like rope and steel. This project provided us with the opportunity to delve into the profound impact of architectural design on both space and users.

PROJECT THREE

Project Brief

We were to re-interpret, re-examine, and reimagine the models from Project 1, culminating in the development of a design narrative and a corresponding 3D model that encapsulates the architectural experience of Path-Portal-Place.

SELF REFLECTION

Reflecting on this project, the reinterpretation process opened new creative vistas. Crafting the design narrative challenged me to articulate evolving ideas, while developing the 3D model emphasized the importance of merging technical skill with artistic expression. This experience reaffirmed the iterative nature of design, highlighting the value of embracing reinterpretation as a catalyst for innovation and personal growth.
